Arrive Tokyo, Japan - Welcome to Japan!
Today, begin your beautiful journey of Japan with Airtours Holidays. Arrive at Narita Airport where you will be met by your Tour Manager at the arrival area after clearing immigration and customs. Kindly make your own arrangement if you are unable to meet the Tour Manager at the designated time. Then check-in to the hotel. (Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.)

Guided City Tour of Tokyo - Visit the Asakusa Sensoji Temple - Visit Tokyo Tower - River Sumida Cruise
After buffet breakfast, proceed on a guided tour of Tokyo. Visit the 7th Century Buddhist temple – the Sensoji Temple in the Asakusa Kanon District. Also visit the Nakamise Shopping Arcade, where you have a chance to buy some local Japanese souvenirs. Enjoy local lunch. Later, visit Tokyo Tower, 150m observation deck. See the Shinto shrine - Yasukuni Jinja, see the Vinod Pal Memorial, the Rainbow Bridge. Visit Odaiba Mega Web Toyota city, Statue of Liberty. Take a seat on the boat for a cruise down the Sumida River from Odaiba to Hinode. Return to Tokyo

Tokyo - Hakone - Mt Fuji – Matsumoto
After buffet breakfast, check out and experience Mt. Fuji, Japan’s most famous symbol! Take in the amazing views from Mt. Fuji 5th Station (weather permitting) After local lunch proceed to the ropeway to Owakudani & embark on a scenic boat ride on tranquil Lake Ashi. Later drive to Matsumoto.

Matsumoto - Alpine Route - Toyama
After buffet breakfast, check out. Later you will visit the Winter Wonderland of Japan. Tateyama has some of the heaviest snowfalls in the world. Proceed to enjoy the Japanese Alps – transfer to the Alpine coach, visit the Kurobe Dam, enjoy the cable car ride, take a trolley, take a special coach through the Snow Wall. From mid-April to mid-June (tentative dates), you can walk between the 20m tall snow walls in Murodo’s dynamic Gorge of Snow. Enjoy the snowfall and play to your heart’s content in the snow-covered world. Murodo is located in the centre of the Alpine Route at a height of 2450m. The grandeur of the 3000 m tall Mt Tsurugi and the Tateyama mountain ranges, rise up in a single glance

Toyama – Kanazawa
After buffet breakfast, check out and enjoy a visit to the historic Oumicho Market, a busy and colorful market and explore along with local residents some of the 200 shops selling seafood, vegetables, fruits, flowers, regional specialties and more. Later you’ll be whisked back in time to the exciting Edo period when you visit the Nagamachi Samurai district, a small neighborhood of narrow, cobblestone streets where brave samurai warriors once lived. Many homes are still occupied by the Samurai descendants and you’ll visit the Nomura Family house that is open to the public where you can admire the stone lanterns and bridges in the garden as well as the cypress-wood ceiling in the residence. Proceed to the beautiful Kenroku-en Garden, one of the finest gardens in Japan and marvel at the waterfalls, ponds and charming tea-houses. Later, transfer to your hotel and check in.

Kanazawa - Shirakawago – Kyoto
After buffet breakfast, check out and visit the Alpine villages of Shirakawago and neighbouring Gokayama - Declared a UNESCO world heritage site in 1995, they are famous for their traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses, some of which are more than 250 years old. Gassho-zukuri means "constructed like hands in prayer", as the farmhouses' steep thatched roofs resemble the hands of Buddhist monks pressed together in prayer. The architectural style developed over many generations and is designed to withstand the large amounts of heavy snow that falls in the region during winter. The roofs, made without nails, provided a large attic space used for cultivating silkworms. In Gokayama, you really must experience making washi (Japanese paper). Make your own postcard, fan or bookmark, allowing you to interact with the traditional industry and history of Gokayama and giving you loads of things for you to do and see. Thereafter, you will proceed to Kyoto - Embodying Japan’s rich culture and complex history, Kyoto has over 2000 temples and shrines, delightful gardens and exceptionally preserved wooden buildings. The sights, wonderful local cuisine and exceptional arts and crafts are certain to enchant you! Upon arrival in Kyoto, transfer to your hotel and check in.

Kyoto - Nara – Osaka
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Kyoto, visit the Kiyomizu temple – a UNESCO world heritage site. Also visit the Kinkakuji Shrine in the Golden Pavillion and see the Nijo Castle. Visit the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest and time permitting a quick photo stop at the Fushimi Inari Shrine. Today enjoy lunch at an Indian restaurant. Later proceed to Nara – the first capital of Japan. Visit the Nara Deer Park which is home to nearly 1200 deer, which have been designated as a national treasure and have become a symbol of the city. Visit the Todaiji Temple which houses the largest statue of Buddha in Japan Later proceed to Osaka. On arrival in Osaka transfer to an Indian restaurant for dinner.

Osaka - Train to Hiroshima - Miyajima Island - Hiroshima Peace Museum - Osaka
After buffet breakfast, proceed on a tour of Hiroshima & Miyajima Island. Transfer to Hiroshima by bullet train. Visit Miyajima Island just a short ferry ride away. Famous for the Itsukushima Jinja Shrine and the beautiful Torii Gates which are a visual delight and the 2nd most photographed monument in Japan. After local lunch, visit Hiroshima, where time stood still when the city was devastated during World War II by the atom bomb. See the Cenotaph which is a tribute to all those people who died due to the bombing. Visit the Atom-Bomb Dome – the only building that remained after the bombing which has now become the symbol of Hiroshima. Also see the Peace Park and much more. Later transfer to Osaka by bullet train.

- Cost of deviation : In case you wish to deviate from the group departure dates mentioned in the brochure i.e. either travel before the departure date of your tour or would like to come back on a later date after the tour ends, there will be an additional charge that will be applicable which will be advised to you by our sales team. The same is subject to availability of seats & class for the given dates & ticket validity. Kindly also note, the deviation request is to be made at the time of booking.
- Cost of Transfer : The individual arrival & departure transfer in case you are not arriving / departing as per group ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE timings.
- Medical/Travel Insurance
- Any expenses of personal nature such as laundry, wines, mineral water, food and drink not in the regular menu provided by us, mini bar, telephone calls, pay channels, cruise shore excursion and any type of beverages in cruise etc. Anything not specified under inclusions.
- Meals other than what is mentioned in your itinerary.
- Cost of excursions, city sightseeing, entrance fees and local guides availed of by the passengers, other than that mentioned in ‘What your tour price includes’.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO BE NOTED
- Only fully vaccinated persons are eligible to travel on this tour over and above the prevailing covid protocols outlined by the respective countries.
- Passengers taking early morning flights will be provided with boxed breakfast.
- All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 25 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 25 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on another departure date.
- Keeping in view the Luggage compartment of coach & Internal Flight regulations, we strongly recommend you to carry only medium size Bag of 20 kg and 1 carryon bag of 5 kg per person.
- The dates and granting of Visas is at the sole discretion of the concerned consulate. Air Tours Holidays is not responsible for granting of visas and are only a facilitator in the visa application process and any situation arising out of delay in granting visa by the consulate/embassy.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any delay in flights or change in Schedule by the airline and any situations arising out of the same. Any damages caused to the hotel rooms/coach during your stay, shall be payable by the passengers. Air Tours will not be liable for the same.
- Air Tours shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement.
- Air Tours will not be liable in any loss of baggage by the Airline. However, we will provide assistance in tracing any lost baggage.
- Air Tours reserves the right to claim any additional expenses due to delay or changes in train, plane, bus, ship or other services, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such losses or expenses must be borne by the passengers.
- Air Tours reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed advisable or necessary.
- For the convenience of our passengers, Air Tours will sometimes amend the itinerary; however all the other services will remain the same.
- Single Room Supplement charges will be applicable in case two different people are sharing a room and one of them cancels the tour.
- The Tour Cost is a combination of all the arrangements and hence cannot be calculated on an individual service basis. Tour cost is one component and not calculated individually.
- Standard check-in at hotels is 1400-1500 hours and check out is 1100-1200 hours.
- Updating of mileage is subject to Airlines terms & conditions in group fare.
- We request the airlines for your preferred seats however this is as per their policy and at their discretion.

OVERSEAS TRAVEL INSURANCE:
It’s very important to find out before you leave whether or not your medical insurance will cover you overseas. Your regular U.S. health insurance may not cover doctors’ and hospital visits in other countries. Always look into the aspects of covering your trip for unforeseen events.

Keeping in view the safety of all travelers and as per the requirement of various countries, only fully vaccinated people who have taken the last shot / jab / dose at least 14 days before the travel date will be allowed on the tour..
CANCELLATION DUE TO BORDER CLOSURES:
In case we are unable to operate a tour due to Border Closure, Air Tours Holidays LLC will refund the deposit amount after deducting the administrative fees of US$ 100 per person. In the event that the entire tour cost has been paid by you and we in turn have paid our overseas tour operators, after which the tour gets cancelled due to Border Closure, then it is possible that we are not able to get the amount back, then we will try and get the refund or a credit note for a later travel date. Any loss due to the exchange rate will affect the refund amount. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to the departure, without assigning any reason. All monies paid by you will be fully refunded in USD only, and no compensation will be payable. In case of cruises, 100% of the cruise cost paid will be forfeited in case of any cancellations irrespective of time of cancellation. The company cannot assume responsibility for any fees relating to the issuance and/or cancellation of air tickets or other arrangements not done through the company.
